Arsenal winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain hopes to take the field for England in Brazil's Maracana.
Next Sunday, the Arsenal teenager will follow in his father's footsteps as England return to the scene of their famous 2-0 win over Brazil.
Oxlade-Chamberlain told The Sun: "I am happy to have the chance to emulate what dad did.
"From a family point of view, it is something to be very proud of that I'm going back there so long after Dad played there.
"It's something that doesn't happen too often in this sport. I've seen the John Barnes goal and how Dad celebrated with him.
"I used to give him stick for his celebration but I haven't actually seen anything of him playing in the match.
"He says he had a good game and, seriously, I'm proud he was involved in a fixture like that."
