Arsenal whiz Lansbury leading England U19s

Arsenal attacking midfielder Henri Lansbury will lead England U19 tonight against the Czech Republic.

"I think this season has gone well for me personally," the midfielder told theFA.com.

"As for the team, everyone has worked well together and we've started to get some real team bonding going, so hopefully we can just keep that going and do well."

The 18-year-old midfielder has also had the honour of leading out his team-mates as his country's captain this season, which is something he hopes can continue right through until the European Finals in July should England finish top of their Elite Round group.

"It's been a real privilege for me to captain the team," admitted the Arsenal starlet, currently enjoying a loan spell with Scunthorpe United.

"I just want to keep my place in the team, keep playing well and keep winning.

"If I can keep doing that and be the captain for the Elite Rounds, it will be a great honour."
