Arsenal are watching Sunderland goalkeeper Simon Mignolet.

The Daily Express says the Belgian shot stopper was linked with a move to the Gunners as well as Manchester United in the January transfer window.

It was believed that he wanted a move to a top Premier League club in order to enhance his status with the international team, however such speculation was quashed by his agent.
