Arsenal are taking a close look at Real Madrid defender Raul Albiol.

The Daily Mail says Albiol has fallen out of favour in the Spanish capital, finding himself behind French wonderkid Raphael Varane and Sergio Ramos, who is considered one of the world's best in that position.

Arsenal are now showing interest in the Span international.
