Lorient have told potential suitors, thought to include Arsenal, that they do not need to sell any of their best players.
Reports suggest the Gunners have made an increased offer for centre-back Laurent Koscielny.
Arsenal's initial offer for Koscielny was believed to be in the region of £4million and have now lodged a bid of £8.2million, according to reports.
"We do not need to sell," chairman Loic Fery said in the Daily Mirror.
"We are fortunate to have a solid financial structure."
