The Sun says their £22million asking price for Van Persie has yet to be met by any club.
The Dutch hotshot, 29, has a year left on his contract, and has said he will not sign a new deal.
This alerted Manchester City, Manchester United and Juventus, but none have matched the Gunners' valuation.
