Stephan Lichsteiner is determined to take Arsenal into the Champions League.

The Gunners will compete in the Europa League for the second consecutive season following last season's sixth placed finish.

"I am hungry to get back to the Champions League," said the 34-year-old Swiss defender.

"But it is a long way and we have two chances - the Europa League and the Premier League. We want to try as I am sure we want to play Champions League next year."
