Jens Lehmann could be set for a return to action in Arsenal colours as the Gunners reserves take on Wigan tomorrow. The veteran German international came out of retirement to help ease the Gunners' goalkeeping crisis after injuries to Wojciech Szczesny and Lukasz Fabianski left Manuel Almunia as the only fit senior man.
However, the 42 year old is in need of match sharpness, and could be given a run-out against the Latics at the Robin Park Arena.
Boss Arsene Wenger told Arsenal TV Online: "Jens has kept himself very fit.
"He had a good basic regime, so that means he can absorb quite easily the specific work of a goalkeeper."
