Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is ready to use the cash raised from Cesc Fabregas' sale to Barcelona to move for Jack Rodwell.
The Daily Express says Wenger will not be forced into selling at a price that does not allow him to start a desperate rebuilding programme that could include a move for Everton's £20m-rated Rodwell.
Manchester United and Chelsea are also chasing the youngster.
