Arsenal urge Rooney to drop personal demands as PSG circle
Arsenal are struggling to meet the personal demands of unsettled Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney. The Daily Star Sunday says wages of up to £250,000-a-week are proving a stumbling block, although Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger's transfer budget means a fee of £25million would not be a problem.
Sources close to Rooney, though, insist wages look to be an issue.
PSG remain interested and personal terms should not be a problem there, with the French club bankrolled by Qatari money.
