Arsenal unlikely to loan Sanogo back to Auxerre

Auxerre chairman Guy Cotret says the club will not be able to take Yaya Sanogo back on loan if he happens to sign for Arsenal.

The 20-year old striker is on the verge of completing a move to the Gunners with reports from France suggesting he has already passed a medical.

Sanogo is close to signing a four-year deal with the North London club and unfortunately for Auxerre, Cotret believes he will be part of Wenger's first team plans immediately.

"He (Wenger) will only loan him back to us if he considers the player is not ready to join his team after the preseason preparations," Cotret told a French radio station.

"Otherwise he will not loan him."
