Arsenal turn down West Ham chase for Gibbs

Arsenal have reportedly rejected an offer from West Ham United for Kieran Gibbs.

It is believed that Slaven Bilic's Hammers enquired about a loan deal for Gibbs who is seen as an apt replacement for the injured Aaron Cresswell.

The London Evening Standard suggests that West Ham asked about the possibility of having out-of-favour Gibbs temporarily which the Gunners have turned down.

The English left-back is behind Nacho Montreal in Arsene Wenger's plans and has continually been linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium this summer.
