Arsenal are closing on Barcelona winger Ibrahim Afellay.
The Dutch ace is being lined up by Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger as a replacement for Theo Walcott.
Afellay is available from Barca as they need to sell to fund their remaining summer transfer plan.
El Mundo Deportivo says the midfielder's agent, Rob Jansen, has been made aware of Wenger's interest.
