Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is trawling the Spanish transfer market for a new goalkeeper.

AS says Villarreal's Diego Lopez and Atletico Madrid's David de Gea have been highlighted by Arsenal scouts, along with Athletic Bilbao veteran Gorka Iraizoz.

A bid for De Gea is seen as especially difficult. The 19-year-old is already on the fringe of the Spain national team and, as Wigan and Manchester United have already discovered, Atleti have no intention of selling.
