Arsenal training has given me confidence for South Korea says Park

South Korea captain Park Chu-young says simply training with Arsenal has given him confidence to perform consistently for his country.

The 26-year old striker has made less than a handful of appearances since joining the Gunners from Monaco in the summer but that doesn't mean his form at international level has suffered.

Park has scored seven goals in last four South Korea outings and he puts it down to the improvements he has mad whilst training with Arsenal.

"Training with the top players in the world is even more helpful to me than the game itself at times," he told his club's official website.

"So when I play in the qualifying matches I feel good.

"Of course I was very happy to score in four straight games. Our team is going through the qualifying matches so it's important to win those games.

"To do so we need many different scorers, and I have been very happy to help make that happen."
