Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini is being tracked by Arsenal.
The Mail on Sunday says Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is seeking cover for William Gallas and Thomas Vermaelen.
Chiellini is being watched, though no immediate bid is being planned. Like Vermaelen, he is left footed and Wenger does not want two left-sided players at the heart of defence.
