Manchester City midfielder Abdisalam Ibrahim is demanding playing assurances ahead of the summer market.
The Daily Star says the midfielder, 22, was loaned to Stromsgodset in Norway having made just three appearances for City since joining them in 2007.
The Norwegian Under-21 player has one year left on his contract and wants assurances about his prospects at City next season.
If he does not get them he is understood to be ready to push for a move - with Arsenal, Tottenham, West Brom, Fulham, Aston Villa, Swansea City and Brighton all interested.
