FC Twente star Bryan Ruiz feels he would've won a big club move away earlier if he'd not been Costa Rican.

Ruiz is a top target for Tottenham and Arsenal this month.

"Players from Costa Rica have no history, they're not so well paid. I think I'd been long gone if I was an Argentine or Brazilian," said Ruiz.

"As long as I play for Twente, I will give everything."
