Arsenal, Tottenham ranked the most expensive to watch per goal

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur were the two most expensive teams to watch per goal in the Premier League last season, according to research conducted by money-saving website, Voucherbox.

Although Tottenham scored an incredible 47 goals at White Hart Lane last term, they conceded only 9 and this fact allied by their steep season ticket price of £1330 meant that each goal witnessed by the fans at the stadium cost £23.75.

Tottenham's rivals Arsenal were less prolific in front of goal with 39 strikes at the Emirates Stadium and while they conceded 16 times at home, the Gunners' whopping £1513.5 season ticket price means that each goal at their home ground cost the fans £27.52.

Hull's KCOM Stadium (£6.86), Swansea City's Liberty Stadium (£7.44) and Sunderland's Stadium of Light (£8.55) were the most value for money grounds in terms of season ticket price over goals, but this stat will prove to be little consolation for fans of the respective clubs as majority of the goals were conceded rather than scored.
