David Villa will not be leaving Barcelona this summer after confirming he plans to see out his contract at the Nou Camp.
The Spin striker has been linked with a move to either Arsenal or Tottenham but he has dismissed those claims by stating that he is determined to remain with Barca and win back his regular starting spot under Tito Vilanova.
"I have a contract with Barca," Villa said. "And I've always said that I'm very happy here."
He added: "I always try to think of the present. I will go to the Confederations Cup (with Spain) and try to play a good role there.
"We'll need to analyse many things during the summer and then we'll see. Right now I'm not thinking about anything else than playing football."
