Arsenal and Tottenham are going head-to-head for Charlton Athletic midfielder Diego Poyet.
The People says the 18-year-old Charlton midfielder is out of contract in the summer and the north London rivals are keen, with West Ham also interested.
Scouts have been at most of the games he has played since his senior debut in an FA Cup tie at Oxford in January.
Should a deal be done, Charlton will receive compensation for the time Poyet spent at the club, but should it go to a tribunal then any initial payment is unlikely to top £500,000.
