Arsenal have been told they can sign Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata on-loan this month - but for a hefty fee. The Daily Mail says Arsenal will have to stump up a £1.7million loan fee to land Morata.
The Gunners remain in contact with Bernabeu chiefs over a deal to take the talented striker, who is also interesting Tottenham, until the end of the season.
Madrid have so far rebuffed all approaches for Morata, but the fact Real have settled on a 2million loan fee has given Arsenal some encouragement.
