Arsenal will make a fresh bid to sign Karim Benzema if Real Madrid bring in a new striker this summer.

According to the Daily Mail, the Gunners are readying themselves for a new pursuit of the Frenchman who they have been linked with for some time now.

With Madrid hot on the heels of both Borussia Dortmund star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Bayern Munich ace Robert Lewandowski, there could be room for Benzema to move at the end of the season and Arsenal are believed to be waiting in the wings.

Arsene Wenger is desperate to sign a quality goalscorer in the upcoming transfer window and could make a move for 28-year-old Benzema provided the Spanish giants are successful in their chase for either Aubameyang or Lewandowski.
