Arsenal are watching Marouane Fellaini's situation at Manchester United.
Fellaini has left Jose Mourinho stunned by turning down a new contract.
The big Belgian midfielder will now be able to arrange a pre-contract with a foreign club in the New Year and leave in the summer on a free.
However, the Daily Express says Arsenal will seek to keep the Belgian in England.
Mourinho has a good relationship with the player but that may not be enough to keep him.
Fellaini feels he's worth more than the club's latest contract offer, which was a small increase on his current £100,000-a-week pay.
Danny Welbeck was the last senior player to swap Manchester United for Arsenal.
