Arsenal players are delighted with the attitude and commitment of Mesut Ozil.Arsenal's £42.5m record signing has been hammered for his lacklustre performance against Bayern Munich on Tuesday.
But the Daily Star says t Ozil carried his injured hamstring for over 20 minutes against Bayern.
It was only at the break that Ozil felt the discomfort and pain increase, and boss Arsene Wenger replaced him with Tomas Rosicky.
Despite claims the ex-Real Madrid star has not settled at the club, it is understood the Germany international has impressed team-mates with his attitude and willingness to fit in.
While Ozil picked up flak for a performance hindered by the injury, strikers Yaya Sanogo and Nicklas Bendtner cried off making the trip to Germany, citing toe and knee problems respectively.
