Arsenal are believed to be pondering a possible swap deal involving key playmaker Santi Cazorla.
Gunners sources reportedly told Football Direct News that the north London club is keen to lure Real Madrid young gun Isco to the Emirates Stadium this summer.
The report suggests that Arsenal could offer £20million and 29-year old Spaniard Cazorla as an opening bid for 21-year old Isco who only joined Madrid from Malaga in the summer.
Cazorla and Isco are former teammates at La Rosaleda but they could coincidentally be ships passing in the night at the end of the season.
Since arriving at the Santiago Bernabeu, Spain international Isco has made 17 starts in La Liga for 26 appearances, scoring seven goals, while appearing nine times in the Champions League (three goals) and on eight occasions in the Copa del Rey.
