Adam Szalai says he expects to stay with German club Mainz amidst interest from Arsenal.
The 25-year old Hungarian striker has been linked with the Gunners, along with Bundesliga rivals Borussia Dortmund and Wolfsburg and Italian club Lazio, but insists there has been no official contact.
"There hasn't been any connection made with the clubs who have been reported in the press, so I don't have to think about being an Arsenal striker," Szalai, who is valued at £12.5million, told German TV.
"It's improbable that I'll go anywhere in the winter transfer window and that 15million euros will be paid for me."
