Arsenal are monitoring Maarten Stekelenburg's situation at Ajax.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has been tipped off about Stekelenburg by Dennis Bergkamp.

The Daily Star Sunday says Stekelenburg has told Ajax he wants to leave in January.

Wenger is expected to push the boat out for a new keeper after failing to agree terms with Fulham for Mark Schwarzer last week.
