Valencia defender Shkodran Mustafi is training away from the rest of the squad as he waits for a move to Arsenal to be finalised.

The Mirror says Mustafi is training alone as he waits for Arsenal to finalise his transfer.

The German defender is subject of interest from the Gunners and, according to his representatives, has agreed personal terms with the north London club on a move to the Emirates.

While Valencia insist they are not negotiating with any club over the 24-year-old, sources at the Spanish club concede that there are unlikely to be any complications should Arsenal meet the €25million (£21m) asking price.

Officially, the World Cup-winning centre-back is training alone to aid his return to full fitness.
