Arsenal are eyeing Marseille defender Nicolas N'Koulou.

The Daily Star says Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is likely to turn to long-term target N'Koulou in order to solve his back-line problems.

Arsenal are thought to have regularly sent scouts to watch the 22-year-old over the past couple of seasons.

The Cameroon international has impressed during Marseille's title challenge this season, but is likely to be sold this summer if a suitable offer is made.
