Mickael Landreau is being linked with a free transfer to Arsenal.

The Daily Star says Landreau has left Lille with immediate effect.

The France international keeper is reported to have had his contract terminated by the Ligue 1 club after a bust-up with coach Rudi Garcia.

Gunners' boss Arsene Wenger has previously been linked with a move for the 33-year-old.

And the north Londoners are thought to have come close to signing Landreau two years ago, when they were also bidding for Fulham stopper Mark Schwarzer.
