Arsenal are being linked with a shock swoop for Spartak Moscow midfielder Kim Kallstrom today. The Swede is in Abu Dhabi with his club for a warm weather training camp, however, he was missing from this morning's drills.

Arsenal are said to be in talks with Spartak over a price for Kallstrom as manager Arsene Wenger seeks cover for his injury-hit midfield.

Dad Mickael said this morning: "I don't know anything about this (Arsenal link).

"When I spoke to him a short while ago, he was in Abu Dhabi, training with his team-mates."
