Phil Jones has signed a new five-year contract with Blackburn Rovers.

The 18-year-old has attracted interest from Liverpool and Tottenham, while Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger admits he is keen to sign the centre-half also.

But Jones has penned a five-year deal that sees him contracted to the Ewood Park club until the summer of 2015, says the Lancashire Telegraph.

Jones, a product of the Rovers Academy, signed his first professional contract with Blackburn in September 2009.
