Red Bull Leipzig midfielder Emil Forsberg admits he grew up a mad Liverpool fan.
The Sweden international has been a long-term target for Reds boss Jurgen Klopp and was linked with Arsenal over the weekend.
Asked about his plans, Forsberg told Bildblag: "I'll stay. Right now I can not get into a better club. Everything can happen in football but I have extended my contract with the club because I am very happy in Leipzig."
On the clubs he followed growing up, Forsberg revealed: "During my childhood, Liverpool was it because my dad was a big supporter. I slept in Liverpool bedding, but also Barcelona and Real Madrid.
"Today there are still teams I like more, but when you play yourself, it's usually your first club that is the favorite."
