Arsenal target Julian Draxler has reaffirmed his desire to leave Wolfsburg during the January transfer window.
Draxler angered the Wolfsburg faithful by expressing his desire to eventually leave the club this past summer and his relationship with the fans seems to be beyond repair as he was roundly booed at the Volkswagen Arena after being brought on as a substitute during the weekend's 3-2 defeat against Hertha Berlin.
Following the negative reception, Draxler has stated that being jeered makes it hard for him to perform but insisted that he has his heart set on a move away from Wolfsburg in January.
The German international said: "I don't think I need to tell anybody what [being booed] does to a person - it certainly doesn't help you.
"There's no doubt it makes it hard for you to perform on the field.
"I can understand the fans, though. They have every right to do that. I said in the summer the way I feel and I stand by that."
