Wolves boss Mick McCarthy has spoken for the first time since his star striker Kevin Doyle was linked with a move to Arsenal.
The 27-year old Republic of Ireland international was reportedly the subject of a £12million offer from the Gunners but McCarthy has indicated that nothing has been heard in the Molineux office and made it very clear that Doyle is happy where he is.
"I can't tell you anything except what was in the papers and I'm not going to comment on some speculative story. What I can tell you is that Doyle loves it here," he told Express & Star.
"He enjoys coming here to work every morning, and we love him here and we enjoy him coming to work here every morning.
"That goes for everyone else as well and that will remain the same until anything different happens."
