Marouane Chamakh says he'll only leave Bordeaux for a foreign move.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has already hinted at making another bid for the Morocco international in January while Juventus are reportedly also set to join the chase.
And Chamakh, whose contract runs out next summer, claims if he is to leave the French champions it would be for foreign shores.
"I couldn't any more move to another French club today," he told girondins.com. "I was tempted by an adventure at Lyon in 2005.
"Honestly, this situation is not conceivable any more.
"I couldn't leave for another club in this country because I have everything here: my family, my friends.
"I was made here and I think there's none better than les Girondins in France.
"We can talk about Lyon, Marseille...but if I had to leave Bordeaux, it would be for somewhere abroad."
