Cedric Soares insists he's happy at Sporting CP.

The Portugal fullback was linked with Arsenal in the English press over the weekend.

But after helping Sporting win the Portuguese Cup, Soares insisted he was happy in Lisbon.

"The future belongs to Sporting, I am totally calm. Barcelona? I do not comment, nor am I worried. I love this club and I want to stay here," he said.

Soares is about to enter the final year of his current deal.
