As the 21-year old prepares for tonight's Champions League clash with the Gunners, he told L'Equipe that a missed opportunity to join the North Londoners in the summer did not dampen his enthusiasm to begin the season under Didier Deschamps.
"The day we returned I told the coach I'd stay," the Ghana international said.
"It was my desire, even though in football you never know what can happen.
"It wasn't a great heartache and I absolutely was not unsettled. I'm lucky to be at Marseille.
"Arsenal? There's everything, the stadium, team, training complex, finances, that's the image a lot of players dream of."
