Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is lining up a shock swap bid for Everton playmaker Mikel Arteta.
The Daily Star Sunday says Wenger is considering Arteta as a replacement for Cesc Fabregas AND Samir Nasri in a deal which would take Nicklas Bendtner to Merseyside.
The Arsenal boss is discussing that swap transfer as Spanish playmaker Arteta can operate both centrally and wide.
Everton manager David Moyes, meanwhile, needs a striker and Denmark's Bendtner is available at Arsenal.
