Arsenal have tabled a new contract offer to Jack Wilshere - on reduced terms.

The Mirror says Arsenal want to base the deal on incentives because of Wilshere's injury record.

Wilshere, 26, is currently on a basic of around £110,000-a-week but Arsenal are offering around £90,000-a-week plus various add-ons based on appearances and success.

Gunners midfielder Wilshere is desperate to stay at Arsenal and has made no secret of wanting to sign a new deal.

Arsenal are still hopeful of getting Mesut Ozil to sign a new deal having already offered the German star £275,000-a-week.
