Arsenal have tabled a contract offer to Japanese youngster Ryo Miyaichi.
The 'Young Guns' website reports that local sources suggest Miyaichi will sign with the Gunners once his deal with Chukyo High School expires at the end of September.
Miyaichi impressed Arsenal in preseason trials last month, but suffered a terrible broken leg injury when testing at Ajax. Chukyo High School have confirmed the injury isn't as bad as first feared.
Despite the setback, reports in Japan say Miyaichi will sign a five year professional contract with Arsenal on his 18th birthday in December.
