Arsenal have made a bid for Hoffenheim ace Roberto Firmino. The Daily Express says the Gunners have launched an £8m bid for Liverpool and Chelsea target Firmino.
It is believed that Arsenal have made contact with Hoffenheim over a move, but that their offer falls short of the German's valuation of the player.
Liverpool and Chelsea were linked with moves for Firmino earlier this year, only for the Brazilian starlet to say he was happy to stay in the Bundesliga and sign a new three-year deal.
But it seems that Arsene Wenger's desire to add another midfielder led the Gunners to put in a speculative offer for Firmino.
