Arsenal majority shareholder Stan Kroenke is desperate not to lose chief exec Ivan Gazidis over the stand-off with Arsene Wenger.
The Sun says Kroenke, who has already sealed the deal with Wenger to stay at Arsenal behind the scenes, admires the work of Gazidis.
Wenger made it clear that he runs the show after the Wembley win, but Kroenke will find a way to keep Gazidis sweet in the negotiations over the future direction of the club.
Despite friction with the board towards the end of the season, Wenger and Gazidis both put on a show of unity during the post-match celebrations at Wembley.
A decision is expected imminently on the future of Wenger whose contract runs out this summer.
