Arsenal striker Vela tells West Brom fans: I will get better

Carlos Vela says there's more to come from him after his goal for West Bromwich Albion in the draw with Wolves.

The on-loan Arsenal striker admitted he is still striving for his best form.

He told the Express & Star: "I am enjoying it because I came here to play and to try to help the team but I have to work hard and improve to my level to help the team. Yesterday was a good day for me and I hope I have more days like that.

"I feel very good. I am so happy that I could help the team a little bit to take a point. Obviously we wanted to win but at this moment we need to take any points we can and work very hard to make sure we're in the best possible position in the table.

"You are always trying to capitalise on a mistake from the other team and to find something. We got the goal in the last minute and got one point.

"I am happy and working hard to help the team. The fans are always very good with us and we have to play and work together and try to keep the team up and try to be more calm in the last few games of the season.

"The team wanted to try to win but we are happy because one point is better than nothing."
