Arsenal striker Robin van Persie had no problem starting on the bench for victory over Stoke City.
The Arsenal skipper has scored 30 goals in 36 games in 2011 but manager Arsene Wenger is worried his talisman will suffer from burn-out.
Wenger almost left him out of the victory over Stoke on Sunday but instead named him as a substitute. Van Persie, who came on and scored twice in the 3-1 win, revealed: "It was not frustrating at all.
"I spoke to the boss about it and we thought it was the right decision to make. I've been playing lots of 90 minutes in the last couple of weeks."
