Arsenal striker Sanogo excited by Palace chance: I enjoyed the win over Spurs!

Arsenal striker Yaya Sanogo is delighted with his loan move to Crystal Palace.

Sanogo will stay at Selhurst Park for the rest of the season and goes straight into the squad to face Burnley on Saturday at Turf Moor.

"It feels good to have signed a six-month deal at Crystal Palace, so I am happy," Sanogo said.

"Last week I watched the game against Tottenham and it was a good game, performance and result. It was also a very good atmosphere with the fans. I was very happy when I was watching the game.

"My ambition is to keep on and every day work hard on the training ground, and try to always play.

"It would certainly be good to play (more) for my adaptation of the league.

"I have spoken to the manager (Alan Pardew) and he says if I work hard, I will play, and to improve every day after training.

"When the Arsenal manager spoke with me about Crystal Palace I was very happy because I want to play more games. I think Palace are a good team.

"I hope I can help the club have a successful second half of the season."
