Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud was delighted with his performance against Tottenham yesterday.

Giroud was delighted to score in his first north London derby.

He said: "It is something special for our fans, so I am proud. It was ­important for the future to win this.

"It was an amazing atmosphere. I am very happy to win my first derby."
