Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud admits speaking with former Montpellier teammate Younes Belhanda about moving to England.

Montpellier president Louis Nicollin has revealed an offer from Aston Villa for the midfielder.

"He called me to ask some advice on the Premier League and I told him that he'd be welcome here with open arms. He will only needs to work on the physical demands in order to be better prepared for the way the game is played in England."
