Arsenal star Olivier Giroud has claimed that he has no problems with Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema and would welcome him back in the national squad.
The 29-year-old was subjected to boos from France fans, who were not happy about Benzema's absence from the national squad for Euro2016, during a warm-up game with Cameroon last month.
However, he has now seemed to have won over the fans with his impressive performances in the ongoing tournament which has seen him score three goals on the way to the semi-final.
"It's always nice to be cheered," said Giroud. "But it's not a case of revenge with regards to what happened in the past.
"I have a good attitude on the pitch and I give everything for the team.
"I'm not turning into anything personal. Karim will be back in the team. I don't have any problems with him."
